Ignatius Telles is a collaborative project inaugurated by SL Telles and RA Bechtol in late 1986 that has continued sporadically through to the present day. Their first cassette Ignatius Telles: IT (and this is nothing) was released in 1987. Their second effort, IT 2, Brute', was issued in 1995. All proceeds from the Ignatius Telles recordings on Bandcamp will go to the RA Bechtol Recovery and Walkin' Around Money Fund directly to Mr. Bechtol's PayPal account as he continues his recovery from major spinal surgery performed June 28, 2013. This third LP is a direct edited transcription of a rare live IT performance from the Green House in September 2012.

Ignatius Telles proper began in 1986, when college friends SL Telles and RA Bechtol decided to borrow our pal Jon Torn's Tascam Porta One cassette four track, the first one we'd ever seen, to make a record.
